This past weekend, the Kern County Hockey Club hosted it’s first mites tournaments at Valley Children’s Ice Center.

We had two of our Junior Condors mites teams competing along with Valley Children’s Ice Center’s In-House team, Santa Barbara Ice Hawks, and the Ventura Mariners.

It was a wonderful weekend full of great competition, skill and fun!

We are so proud of all 3 of our local teams. Each team played close to 5 hours each this weekend. That’s a lot of hockey in one weekend!

In the end, our Jr. Condors 2 team won 2nd place and earned the silver. Our Jr. Condors 1 team placed third and earned the bronze.

Shoutout to the Ventura Mariners that won 1st place and took home the gold and the coveted Shamrock Showdown banner.
