2023-24 Season Tryouts

Tier II (AA) - complete / teams have been selected

A/BB/B (SCAHA) - complete / teams have been selected

 

Any player interested in playing for the Jr Condors for the 2023-24 season must register and attend tryouts.

Before completing the tryout registration form, each player must be registered with USA Hockey and SCAHA.

THE TRYOUT PROCESS

Check-in at the tryout table, and let us know what color jersey & number you are wearing for tryouts.

Be ready to get on the ice at the designated time for your tryout.

Locker Room Assignments will be posted.

Tryouts will last an hour.  

A/BB/B - only one tryout skate.

Tier II (AA) - two tryout skates.

After the tryout is over, please stay at the rink until the offer sheets/email have been distributed.

Tryout sheets/email will instruct you to do one of the following things:

Proceed to designated area to sign up for the team:

  • Players who have been selected for the team at the first tryout will be asked to return the following day for the second skate.

Return to the next tryout for another look:

  • Players who have been called back for another look will be asked to return the following day for the second tryout skate.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM CHOSEN FOR A TEAM?

Immediately following the tryout, you will meet with the club representative at the area designated.

With help from a team representative, you will complete the Letter of Intent and pay the non-refundable rostering deposit through TeamSnap (link will be provided).

Financial arrangements for payment of registration and dues must be completed online within 24 hours of making the team.

Once you sign a Letter of Intent you may not tryout for any other team (exceptions: SCAHA players may also be on a High School team, girls may roster on both a girls’ team and youth team as long as it is not in conflict with league rules.

 

BIRTH CERTIFICATES AND RESIDENCY DOCUMENTS

If you are a new player to SCAHA/CAHA, or are foreign born, you MAY be asked to provide a copy of your government issued birth certificate and/or US Visa documents to the club Registrar.  Please make sure that you bring these documents to tryouts in the event that you are picked for a team.
